A: Honey gold pour, with a thin head that recedes quickly, though it does leave a ring of head around the edges which suffices to create some light lattice down the glass.
S + T: Piney and resinous nose, followed with just a touch of malts. The taste is also evergreen-like, with a little hint of orange peel.
M + O: Light-medium body, crisp carbonation, fairly dry finish--

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, roasted malt and pine. Malty with a touch of caramel. Some citrus notes.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "bottled date" 10-4-16.
APPEARANCE: pours a cloudy copper color with larger bits floating about, one-finger off-white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is significant lacing on the glass, lighter carbonation.
SMELL: bread, brown sugar, flowery.
TASTE: initially sweet then bread and grapefruit citrus followed by a mild metallic hop profile.
PALATE: medium body and lighter carbonation.
OVERALL: this is a really good West Coast style IPA that is not overdone, the hops do not overpower you to where you can only have one, I enjoyed this beer and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.
