12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of oranges, toasted caramel and subtle piney notes. Strong orange flavor with a toasted caramel backbone.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "bottled date" 2-10-17.
APPEARANCE: pours a cloudy, dark, copper color with one-finger off-white head with excellent retention, slowly dissipated until a thin, unbroken layer of small bubbles remained, significant lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.
SMELL: very faint to the nose, bread and orange citrus.
TASTE: the taste is initially sweet orange citrus and bread then a piney hop blast on the finish that pleasantly lingers, be cautioned the 8.2% ABV is well disguised.
PALATE: medium body and somewhat creamy.
OVERALL: this is a very tasty beer, it's very sweet up front but the hops really balance this out to make an enjoyable brew, I would buy this again no problem and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

Surprisingly tasty...def better than the Flying Dog blood orange. And not as boozy as I was expecting given the ABV.
