Infusion Brewing Co. "Walk-On Red Ale"
12 fl. oz. can "PKG ON 08/19/22" and sampled on 12-22-22
$1.99 @ Hy-Vee Omaha #1, Omaha, NE
Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy crimson-copper colored body is capped by a 3/4" lid of antique white foam. The aroma is malty and fruity with an unusual kind of musty note that I don't recall ever having experienced before. The taste is not much different. It's malty and sweetish with a light edge of caramel, and fruity with fallen apple and soft apricot. There's some floral, grassy, and spicy character there as well. A moderate bitterness runs through it and it finishes fairly dry with the fruitiness and hoppy notes lingering shortly. Both the head retention and lacing are limited but it's a little bit better than average, and I'll just ignore the haziness in terms of appearance as that's become so acceptable these days. In the mouth it's medium bodie dand smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation that lends a light tingle to the tongue before warming to become slippery-smooth. As an easy to drink red ale it's delivers what it promises although it suffers in terms of production, balance, and roundness of character.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
