Surrealism is an artistic movement that attempts to express the workings of the subconscious and is characterized by fantastic imagery and incongruous juxtaposition of subject matter: dreamlike; hypnagogic; non sequitur; erroneous; solecistic; and inexact. Such are the qualities of Salvador Dali’s paintings that can be enjoyed at the beautiful Salvador Dali Museum in downtown St. Petersburg. We at Green Bench took note of Dali’s surrealistic art , delicately combining the tart, acidic, and puckering qualities of a sour ale with the tropical, bitter, and dry characteristics of an American IPA to create Surrealist IPA.

Calling this a DIPA is not quite right. It is a sour combined with and IPA. So folks should rate it as such. This is a really great beer. I would like to see more of this kind of fusion.

I did not think this beer worked for my taste. It's trying to be sour and hoppy beer at the same time but the hop bill and yeast bill clashed badly and ended up producing an aroma/taste with an off putting acid, rotten fruit, Fake vanilla, and overall unappealing medicinal bitter aftertaste that's extremely hard to put down. Other beers at the brewery were good, but this is a miss.

Wow, this is sour. I'm rating purely on how much I enjoyed it, but if I were scoring for appreciation of something unique/rare in the area then this would be higher.
