Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Green Bench tasting room. Unfortunately, I didn't record the glassware this was served in.
A: Mildly hazy light gold to nearly straw-colored. A thin white head fades quickly on top of average visible carbonation.
S: Lactic acid, lemony citric tartness, mild fruity (pears and apples), and a bit of wheat bread malts. Faintly musty.
T: Follows the nose. Lactic tart, wheat cereal and light cracker malts with just a touch of grainy character. Lemony tart and quite dry. Lactic tartness lasts well after the swallow, but not screamingly acidic.
M: Light body, no alcohol presence to speak of, and a good amount of carbonation sensation.
O: I thought this was a pretty tasty base Berliner. Wouldn't hesitate to grab a bottle or a pour if I saw it around.

A peculiar yet delicious Berliner, as light in color as any beer I've ever seen, looks like rinsing the glass after a pale ale, champagne crystal yellow and very clears short white head fades fast but is quite easily resuscitated. Nose of tart fruit and a quick lacto souring. Wheat malt is extremely delicate, almost white grape juicy in taste and watery in feel, but the carbonation is erupting and it flatters the lightness, really nice there. The flavor us light but the tartness is clean and it thankfully lacks that sweaty feet thing a lot if quick sour Berliners have in common. This is delicate and elegant and far better than the other beer I had from these guys. Hard to stand out anymore in a style like this that's exploding, but this one does. A real beauty
