Appearance: brown in color with a short 1/4" head that slowly falls to a spotty surface covering.
Smell: earthy is the best way to describe the aroma.
Taste: toffee, dark chocolate, dark fruit. yeast, hint of alcohol, and it is all wrapped in an earthy blanket.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Light crispness throughout.
Overall: an enjoyable version of the style. Defintely worthy of a try.

Pours a deep coppery brown with no head, lacing or collar. Aroma is molasses, dark chocolate, grassy, and wet brick. Taste is black cherry, wet earth, like compost, chalky wood and musty. Low-med carb, med body, tart on the tongue.
