The look is of rhubarb pie goop--a pale red-salmon with a whitish-pink fizz leaving fuzzy layers of lace on the glass.
Smell is spiced cherry, almost like that which you'd find in a more mature Kriek, with some spicy, resiny vegetal hops and shortbread.
Taste is tangy and lightly sour, but that builds with time, as cherry and raspberry candy notes lead off a smaller hop presence than anticipated, making this not quite the milkshake IPA it's labeled as, but almost like the oddest combination of American Wild and IPA. There's also some toasted wheat and Corn Flakes in this medium bodied brew, with mild carbonation and a chalk dry finish.
