The aroma is malty and yeasty with notes of clove and banana. The appearance is hazy gold. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a great example of the style.

Appearance: Lightly hazed body, with an orange-yellow appearance and a slim, white head from a hearty pint pour.
Smell: Lightly grainy nose predominately smelling of bready, scantly sweetish wheat with restrained clove phenolics, rather mild mashed green banana.
Taste: Malted wheat with a light, lingering graininess, breadiness and light cereal sweetness. Garden-variety clovebuds and modest bananas with an extra, added pinch of pepper. Rustic bread character on the swallow.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Sufficient.
