This IPA starts with a combination of two-row and caramel malts to create the malt flavor. There are multiple hop additions during the brewing process followed with a dry hop session which designs a beer with a hop finish characteristic of this style.

a very light and easy drinking ipa, if you can even call it that. they ferment this at 66 degrees, which gives it almost lager properties, I can understand why after one sip. its generously hopped, but super light in color, and in hop bitterness. a hint of sweet from lighter pale malts, and a sweet alpha cascade presence, without being too much. the other thing I like about it is its refreshment value. its clean and light, drinkable, and flavorful. the hops give it more nuance than one would expect for (what I am pretty sure) is a single hop beer. this place is a lot of fun, and this is a great beer, but I am reluctant to call it an ipa. its more like something from jacks abbey than something from green flash, but I like it a lot, and it has a role in the crowded Denver beer scene. a worthwhile ale.
