Copenhagen 1/5 2018. 50 cl bottle from Rewe in Kiel. Old Church on scroll paper on the label. Everything seems very gothic and old-fashioned including a wax seal on the top of the bottle.

Pours clear, dark amber with a big off-white head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is sweet and metallic. Caramel, butter, light roastiness and metallic alcohol.

Light yet prickly carbonation. Thin, watery texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and slightly metallic. Fairly short.

Decent Amber which actually has some substance. I could live without the metallic odor and taste.
