On tap at the brewery (which is a very cool building, I like it every time I see it). Black color, decent head. Aroma was a bit of grapefruit or maybe citrus? Mostly dark malt flavor, hint of bitterness. Overall this was a pretty decent beer but not as good as their DIPA.

Appearance: Pours a coffee color with a very impressive head that leaves some strands of lace behind
Smell: Grapefruit hops are powerful in the aroma but there is also a nice balance from the cacao in the malts
Taste: The cacao malt flavors set the stage at the outset but the grapefruity hops build in the middle; rather balanced between the malt and the hops, in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Easily the best of the three beers I tasted at the brewpub, this is also a very good example of the style
