Pale straw yellow body; little noticeable carbonation with a sticky, foamy, white head. Fine cream ale aroma; a bit of light bread crust; some green grass. Mild flavor overall; delicate cereal malt; light cracker; balanced hop bitterness. Light body; smooth and crisp.
This is an enjoyable beer, light yet with just enough ale quality to keep it interesting. It would make a fine sessionable beer, especially during the warm months or anytime you're looking for a lighter profile beer to give your palate a break from hop bombs or barrel-aged boldness.

From a 12 oz can (dated February 14, 2017) to a nonic glass. Reviewed from notes dated July 9, 2017.
A-The beer is perfectly clear and yellow-gold in color. A normal pour produces about a finger of white head. Retention is poor and there is no lacing left on the glass. No carbonation to be seen, either.
S-The smell is a pleasant and subdued mixture of light honey sweetness, dried grass, biscuit, whiffs of yeast, and hints of cooked corn. It is simple and a little boring, but this is a cream ale we are talking about.
T-The taste is similar to smell, but I am picking up a little more grass bite on the palate than I did on the nose. This beer gives up mild flavors of biscuit, cracker, some cooked corn, and hints of lemon, white pepper, and dried grass.
M-The body is pretty light and the beer is mostly dry. There is a moderate level of semi-crisp carbonation. It drinks easily and the feel matches the style well.
O-This beer may not blow anyone's mind, but it is a good "lawnmower beer" for a hot day when you don't want to have to think to much. It makes a nice option to have in the fridge for non-craft drinkers too.
