Ebony colored body topped with a very thick, sticky, light khaki head. Mild roasted grain smell with a bit of nuts, cocoa, and coconut. Milk chocolate flavor combined with grain char; moderate bitterness, especially at the finish. Heavy body; slick; semi-dry finish with a slight bit of alcohol dryness to offset things.
This beer's best part is its appearance. It's a decent stout all around, lacks some body and the taste, while very good, doesn't stand out from other quality stouts.

On tap at the brewery. Dark black, decent head, looks like a stout. Aroma is malts and then some malts. Flavor is a ho-hum stout. My buddy asked how it was and I replied "well it is beer". This wasn't bad it was just a run of the mill stout.
