Back on tap at the brewery and served in a pint glass.
Look- A very clean looking deep gold color with a small amount of white foam.
Smell- Pine, mild green onion and malt.
Taste- Grapefruit, pine, and floral qualities. A bit of onion and spice in the finish.
Feel- Resiny and slick.
Overall- A very flavorful beer without being too bitter, and is extremely drinkable for a 7.4% beer. It's a very crisp and clean IPA.

On tap at the brewery; poured into a pub glass.
Appearance - light, gold; lots of carbonation that builds a thin, white head. Lacing is thick and abundant.
Smell - dank, pine, some citrus; solid nose, not great.
Taste - dank, bitter flavors of pine and grapefruit; some calming malt presence, but definitely hop strong!
Feel - bitter, spicy; medium body, mildly carbonated; refreshing, but with a kick!
Overall - tasty and flavorful IPA, but lacks the strong nose to make it outstanding.

replacing the strange brew at hops as the new house ipa. its good not great, same as the last one right? wrong. its resinous and dank and big and sticky, but its also dry and lingering at the same time, huge but safe, you know? its middling in a different way, instead of being under flavored, its generically over done. has all the right properties for the style sure, and trust me, its darned good with pizza there, but it sort of falls in line with so many others. it misses a mark that is set by the best in the style, but not for any single particularly definable issue. its just too samey, too west coasty if you will, which i see as a poor critique yes, but its just sort of like a lot of cali stuff, a compliment in some ways, but a criticism for not standing out. still an excellent beer, should do well there, but its a step below the better india pales on the market for some reasons that almost seem to spite itself. frustratingly tasty but comfortable at the same time

On tap at Hops and Pie and described as West Coast, here we go again. Yellow color, decent head. Aroma is hoppy, not quite what I consider west coast but definitely hoppy. The flavor was nice, bitter, bubblegum, citrus, lots of hops. I'm torn on this one, it was pretty close to West Coast but I'm still unsure. Overall though, very nice IPA.
