Dark copper body displaying a thick, dense, creamy head. Malty, spicy aroma; mild caramel and toffee elements; soft details of fruit. Plum and caramel flavors; sweet upfront and ending with a mild hop bitterness. Heavy body; warm and rich on the palate.
A nice representation of a doppelbock. Good balance and decent complexity.

I'm not a huge bock guy, but this one was pretty good. It's 8%, so be careful if you have more than one. Definitely got the toffee and caramel flavors in their description, and I think I might try some other bocks now as a result of having this one. Good one-time offering.
