Brewed in collaboration with Indeed Brewing. A lightly Kettle soured amber ale with winterberry black tea added. Aroma hosts dried Raspberry and roasted grain tartness cuts through the malt for a tea forward finish.

a little sloppy maybe, but definitely something out of the ordinary for these guys, a cool collaboration sour, for sure done in the kettle, all lactic and dirty, with some berry tea that really comes through and a decent pucker. inventive, but in need of some refinement. murky purple stained brew, thick and hazy, a forced off white head comes out and recedes fast. nose of blackberries, fermented all weird for a moment and killed with heat. i already know the process before i taste this one, a hot lactic fermentation, quick, fruity enough still, but nicely broken down too. wheaty base seems way too thick for this, its hard to stomach all the body. an intriguing dark fruit complexion, currant to boysenberry, with the blackberry and raspberry in the middle, a cuvee if you will. bitter enough from the tea, but sweet too. this needed a little longer in a fermenter i reckon, but it shows a lot of promise. this is the first funky yeast driven beer i have had from these guys and its a nice start...
