L: Pours a clear copper gold color with a very creamy head that dissipates at a medium rate and has a nice amount of lacing.
S: Lots of tropical fruit, mixed with weedy and floral hops. A light malt backbone. The smell is ok but doesn't stand up to some other IPAs.
T: Tropical and citrus hops, with some floral and weedy hops. The booze is very noticeable, not too much of a malt backbone is noticeable. The bitterness is a little low for a double IPA.
F: Pretty full body with a medium creamy carbonation.
O: This IPA isn't horrible, but it doesn't stand up to some of the better ones currently available.

a collaboration with falling rock and mr bs liquor store, this is one of the best station 26 beers i have had yet. i like everything about it. its pretty to look at, with a lacy white head real thick, and a little haze to the deep honey colored brew, but soft and inviting generally speaking. it smells amazing, ill be gosh darned if there isnt nelson hops in this. im sure there are, its got a lot of them, bright and tropical and there in all of their distinct glory, and the same is true in the taste, definitely nelson. there is also almost assuredly another hop in here, because this is both oily in feel and bitter in the finish, two things nelson isnt known for, and the complexion there just doesnt match. i couldnt venture a guess on the other hop (or several hops) they use, but its pungent too, and the combination is awesome. fuller bodied but smooth, insanely drinkable for how strong it is, almost frightening really. topical fruits in the finish with a little residual sugar, orange and melon and pineapple, really awesome. fluffy feeling and delicious aftertaste. this is a winner.

From a 650 ml bottle to a tulip. Tasted about a week after the release.
A-A normal pour produces about one and one-half fingers of nearly white head. Retention is OK, but the foam fades to a thick collar pretty quickly. That head leaves some stray lacy chunks on the glass. The beer is orange-gold in color and clear.
S-The aroma is an odd, heavily hopped thing. I sniff a lot of blueberry, some melon or honeydew, and a orange creamsicle. After the beer warms a bit, I really notice the bitterness. It isn't pine forward. Rather, it suggests orange pith with a leafy, herbal note. The malts are mostly in the background but they provide a nice bready, honey-sweet balance. A bit muddled.
T-The taste, like the smell, leads with the odd hop flavors of melon and berry. A floral orange pith flavor is quite strong and the leafy, green bitterness is very high (and somewhat odd given the more tropical notes that are also present). The finish is long with hints of medicinal alcohol and green dandelion. Malts are mild and honey sweet.
M-The body is on the heavy side for the style with just a hint of stickiness. The carbonation is a slightly creamy.
O-This is a well-made beer, but the hop combo is pretty odd. I found myself enjoying it more and more as I drank my glass, but I'm not sure I want too many. The bitterness is very high, even for a West-Coast/non-juice-box IIPA, which hurts the flavor a bit too.
