Poured into a pint glass. More intense black than traditional porter, but hit's the mark on the roasted malts. Beautiful lacing as I slowly emptied the glass. Definite chocolate with some mild hints of coffee. Agree with the comment on being more intense than standard porters, but definitely not a stout (some porter dance the fine line between being a stout). The feel is in between a traditional porter and stout.

On-tap at TRB.

A: Served a deep cola brown with a thin tan head that faded into a thin collar leaving spotty lace.
S: Definitely a lightly roasted nose with hints of something nutty. Mild caramel and maybe tobacco as well.
T: Roasted and toasted flavors dominate with hints of hazelnuts. Creamy and smooth flavors overall of roast and nuts. Not smokey or overly chocolatey, although there is a hint of coco. Tobacco in the finish, faint leather in the aftertaste.
M: Medium-light body, soft and smooth carbonation, very clean and easy mouthfeel for being so roasted.
O: One of the better porters I've ever had. Very quaffable and delicious. Perfect amount of roast and toast without being smokey or lingering.
