Appearance: Arrives hazy and amber colored with a small head that leaves wisps of lacing behind

Smell: Resinous mango and tangerine tones

Taste: Taste follows smell with the flavors in the aroma, mango and tangerine building and bringing some sweetness along; the finish is somewhat bitter and dry

Mouthfeel: Medium body with crisp carbonation

Overall: Very bright and juicy; haven't come across a Cellarmaker IPA I haven't enjoyed

Pale gold with white head. Nose is full of orange, pine, resin. Waves of orange, stonefruit, pine, resin, and dank notes dominate the palate. Juicy, dank, and delicious.

Thanks to Chris F. for sharing this one at the Revenge Of Instant Replay bottleshare held at Instant Replay in Canoga Park, CA.

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and tropical fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with great citrus and tropical hop qualities that make this one a treat to drink.

Aw yiss. Pours clear and bright golden yellow. Quite clear. Medium white head. Good lacing. The aroma is absolutely bursting with sweet citrus hop flavor. Huge sweet lemon, big pineapple, passionfruit, kiwi, honeysuckle, grape, tangerine, raspberry, peach. Everything is fresh and sweet and lovely. Mouthwatering. The taste is nothing but more of the same hop flavor. Relatively dry but still quite sweet with all of that tropical fruit explosion. Cellarmaker is knocking their hoppy stuff out of the park, and a lot of that has to do with just how much flavor they manage to pack into the taste. The beer is only mildly bitter, but it's just brimming with pineapple, passionfruit, mango, kiwi, peach, grape, tangerine and all sorts of great stuff. I actually haven't loved some previous Galaxy and Mosaic beers, but the combination works extremely well here. Mouthfeel is light with normal carbonation. This is an absolutely wonderful IPA. Cellarmaker is quietly making some of the best hoppy beers in the country.

Probably the best Cellarmaker beer to date, which is saying a lot. Crystal clear bright gold body, capped by a finger of head that leaves sheets of lacing. Incredible aromatics, largely bright citrus consisting of pineapple and grapefruit, with a touch of dankness. The concentration is pretty crazy - the aromatics are so intense it makes other quality IPAs literally taste and smell bland. I had to cleanse my palate just to be able to taste a pint of Alpine Duet after having this beer. The palate, much like the aroma, is led by a balanced mix of pineapple and pungent dankness from the Galaxy, balanced by sweeter berry and tropical notes from the Mosaic. Clean fermentation and a light body make this an awesome hop showcase. This is impressively refined beer, up to par with the best IPAs of San Diego, which is crazy coming from a brewery that's less than a year old. Stoked to finally have beer like this coming from a bay area brewery.
