Slight haze on the yellow brew with dissipating foam in the Piraat tulip. Light mouthfeel lacking a little in carbonation. Aromatic with notes of lemon and pine. Tastes of melon, and a hint of resins. Some alfalfa notes, a modest herbal finish, and green fruit.
Hops are listed as Citra, Motueka, and Columbus. Rather tangy with a little of the hazy acidity, though quite drinkable. Overall this is a pleasant hoppy Pale ale with a smooth aftertaste. From the 16 oz can dated 12/27/20.

On tap at Cellarmaker Brewing Company in San Francisco, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, and pine needle aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, pine needle, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a great mix of different hop characteristics all around.
Serving type: on tap.
