Poured on tap into a sampler glass at Cellarmaker Brewing.
Gold orange body, with a nice creamy top and slightly cloudy body. No lacing but with a nice dark appearance for a bitter.
Definite biscuit aroma, dense and thick, with a bit of cream. Unfortunately there is a little bit of bile like aromas which come out of nowhere, and are surprising to say the least.
The palate though provides a great classic English quality. Thick big toast and cream like quality. Huge toasty finish of bread crust, with a sweet creamy quality. Lots of good graham cracker density and milk to match nicely. Coats evenly and nicely, for a body that hits far larger than it's 3.7 abv session-ability.
A real nice bitter with a strange fault on the aroma though. Very nice and memorable.
