Poured at the brewery into a taster glass.
Cloudy lemon body with a nice creamy white head presented. Very fine puck as the beer settles, and lots of good coating ring lacing while drinking. Very nice.
Very hop forward bouquet, with lots of tropical notes that is explosive. Some faint hints of pine and lemon a bit, but lots of juiced pineapple takes over. Big and bold, very impressive but without as much other malt presence.
Palate is huge on the pineapple. Borderline crisp finish and hop thick coating in the mid palate. Dense and chewy, with a big leafy green quality. Good contrast between this pineapple fruit and chewy leafy hop component, but not leaving for much room for anything else it seems.
Overall a big hop head pale ale dream boat but missing some of the malt character to balance and counter. It is though a delicious brew.
