Appearance: light burnt orange color. finger or two of a white frothy head with moderate retention. completely hazy and opaque.
Smell: huge Chinook pine resin along with some blood orange/grapefruit. tropical fruit undertones. sweet cracker malty backbone peaks through.
Taste: opens with some pure hop resin. fruit starts to come forward with citrus, notes of blood orange to a more bitter grapefruit. muted tropical fruit notes and berries make their way through occasionally. The malty backbone is just barely there at the end with a sweet biscuit and cracker taste.
Mouthfeel: strongly drinkable. nice firm bitterness that doesn't linger too long. refreshing slightly dry finish.
Overall: wonderful hop character in this beer. nice balance of all things hops. malt balance is top notch as well.

On tap at Toronado SD, into a pint
Creamsicle-looking beer, orange and cloudy with a big fluffy head leaving little patches of lacing all over.
An aptly-titled brew, with a big juicy, kushy-stank nose. Overly ripe tropical fruits come to mind.
And continues on the palate. Grapefruit pith, mango rind bounce off notes of caramel and honeyed buscuits. Bitter enough to be refreshing, sweet enough to be delicious. Semi-long finish with a chewy complexion, leaving lingering sweet risiduals between sips.
I'm really torn here. I came in for KRB's Citra, possibly my favorite beer of all beers, and I'm sitting here using up some of my alcohol capacity to drink something other than Citra. And this is just a knock out. Like, stunning in its deliciousness. Not yet sure how this ranks in my top-whatever list, but reevaluations are in order.

Beautiful hazy cloudy honey appearance accompanied by a tasty dank smooth bitterness. What more could you ask for? This IPA rules!

Semi cloudy. Tons of fresh cut fruit on the nose. Taste is incredibly fruity. Did they add pineapple/mango juice? No. Just hops n malt. Wow! Nice mellow bitterness to finish, silky smooth feel. Darned good.
