Very Good
Notes: Hopped intensely with Citra as well as smaller amounts of Simcoe and Amarillo. This is classic west coast IPA with big notes of pineapple, orange, and stonefruit.

Aroma of pine and citrus. Key lime and pineapple flavors. Medium body. Vibrant and creamy a wonderful ale. On tap at CM and from growler same night.

For this that want crushable pale ale!

A: Very hoppy – with bright aromas of stone and tropical fruits.

A: Light orange-yellow color, totally clear with a moderate white head that has adequate retention. There is light lacing in the glass.

T: Big, juicy stone and tropical fruit hoppy flavors, with enough malt support to hold the beer together. The beer has a light bitterness on the finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel from hop oils and malted wheat.

O: Very tasty; the beer has a great stone and tropical fruit aroma and flavor. The beer also is smooth with great body without being heavy – well executed!

On tap at Ale Arsenal.

Clear, pale, yellow.

Smells kind of garlicky. Thought maybe the wheat is just reminding me of Lil' Sumpin'?

Yeah, I just don't like it that much. How disappointing. The first dud from Cellarmaker? It's round and nice, but the hops are earthy and oniony, and I detect nary a trace of Citra.

Not recommended, but only because Cellarmaker's other pale ales are SO much better.
