On-tap at TRB.
A: Pours a cloudy dark straw color with a thin off-white head that quickly faded to collar.
S: I could smell this beer from across the bar. Huge and dominating notes of Nelson hops are incredible on the nose. I get scents of earthy, leafy, vegetable, and tobacco flavored hops with just a kiss of sweet tropical fruits.
T: Follows the nose. Very interesting spicy tobacco and vegetable quality to the hops. Good and definitely unique. The vegetable spiciness lingers long after the swallow. Notes of base malt are crackery and crisp.
M: Greasy mouthfeel, medium-full body, smooth a easy carbonation. Goes down well.
O: A spicy and very interesting ipa, but not my favorite nelson-hop blend.
