Danquito is the mini version of I See a Dankness, out collab DIPA with Sante Adarius. It comes in at 5.9% and 38 IBUs. We used a good amount of oats for a silky mouthfeel and Citra, Simcoe, Equinox and Nugget hops.

The beer is pale orange and hazy, though not opaque like its big brother. Solid white head. Plenty of lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Big on lime and mango. Guava, tangerine, pine. Juicy but definitely milder than the Dankness. Taste is dry and moderately bitter. It doesn’t quite have the same wonderful mineral note as Dankness but there’s still plenty of hop flavor. Lots of tropical fruit. Lingering guava and lime aftertaste. A little harsh at first but it finishes very smooth for such a dry, hoppy beer. Tasty pale ale.

On draft. Strongly reminiscent of D'donk (had just prior), but toned down and with much stronger biscuit flavor.
