The beer is a very pale straw yellow. Cloudy. Almost a milky yellow color. Smallish white head. Dissipates after a minute. The aroma is big on the barrel flavor. Lots of chardonnay. Big fruit with just a little buttery oak. Nice. Mild tart grape and lacto note. Taste is fairly dry. Some fruity sweetness. Taste doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Grapey with some nondescript oak. Just lacks a little funk depth. What funk is present is nice enough but mild. Light to medium feel.

Damn good tart saison ... would have been a 5 with a bit more funk to it. Very refreshing and tropical tasting!
