Yellow pour, white head. Aroma was bursting with hoppy citrus, funky nelsons. Very well done, similar to Keene Idea.
Plenty of the same fruit citrusness drops all over the mouthfeel, great taste, low bitterness, really dominated by the Nelsons more than the citra.

The beer is a bright yellow gold. Pretty much clear. Smallish white head. The aroma is full of juicy hop flavor. Big on grape, tangerine, pineapple, mango, papaya, blackberry, wildflowers. Really nice stuff. Pretty mild malt sweetness. It’s there in a beer of this size but doesn’t get in the way at all. Mild bitterness. Tons of hop flavor in the taste. Excellent flavor. Some malt sugariness, again pretty much just there for the hops. Mouth coating hoppiness. Long lasting aftertaste of hop fruitiness. Smooth. Easy to drink.

On tap at Ale Arsenal. From notes. Reviewed 27 June 2015.
A surprisingly drinkable DIPA! It's crisp, balanced, and surprisingly light. Honestly, the way things are going, I won't be surprised if the 'bar' for DIPA is raised 8.5% rule of thumb. But for now, I think 8% is as good as arbitrary designation as any other. This beer just goes to demonstrate the arbitrariness. Drinks like a damn good IPA.

A lot of citrus in this one, great nose. Taste follows the aroma - spot on. On draft at Toronado. My first from Cellarmaker, will be back for more.

Another great beer to add to the dank series. Not quite up there with Double Dobis and I See a Dankness, but just a super solid India pale ale from Cellarmaker, classic.
