West Coast IPA hopped mostly with South African Southern Passion hops and then a healthy dose of Simcoe, Centennial and Mosaic. This beer has wonderful aromatics of mango, melon and lime with flavors of watermelon rind, bready malt and pine sap.

This is one that builds in complexity andcharacter as you drink it. Good clarity, nice head retention, modest lacing. Aroma has a lot of earth and dried grass, a bready hit like lightly toasted rye, some mango and grapefruit pith. Dried lime. Flavor is similar with the earthen and bread / cracker up front but adding more fruit dimensions on the back end ... I wouldn't have pinpointed watermelon, I was thinking cherry juice, but can see it after reading Cellarmaker's notes. Finishes with a nice balance of bitterness.
Love the continued exploration of off the beaten path hops.

Clear gold with white head. Stone fruit, mango, lime, pine on nose. Nice bitterness up front with peach, lime, pine resin, and a dry finish. Solid west coast IPA with nice lingering bitterness.

You really get those watermelon notes- makes it super refreshing. Then the bitterness kicks in at the end and reminds you that you are still drinking a West Coast IPA.
