We love Citra hops as much as you all do so we decided to brew the next installment into the Dobis series. This IPA balances the drinkability of Dobis PA with the intense Citra aroma and flavor of Double Dobis. This is straight up dank pineapple juice and a do not miss for Dobis fans.

Had this fresh at the brewery. Hands-down one of the best IPAs I've had. And I live in Denver.

32oz crowler, filled less than a week ago. Poured into a willi becher glass. Appropriately hazy, golden body, one finger white head, short retention, fair bit of lacing. Smell is a nice reasonably dank, citrus hop aroma with a slight bit of sugary sweetness, a bit of grapefruit. Flavour follows, grapefruit, a bit of citrus and fair bit of resin and sugar. Smooth and mildly sweet, appropriate carbonation, medium lighter in body, easy to drink with a nice softness to it, finishing with mild herbal resin. It works well, and quite easy to crush this crowler.

Appearance: Arrives cloudy with a honey color; the modest head leaves a few wisps
Smell: Grapefruit, passionfruit and melon tones
Taste: Passionfruit and melon forward with developing grapefruit tones; moderately bitter, through the middle, with a bright but dry finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Brings on the modern elements but still has a lot of the west coast

This pours with a glowing orange color. It's juicy, without being over the top
Citra-y goodness without being over the top. Of course I liked drinking it.

On tap at Toronado, into a pint. Obviously not retired as I'm reviewing this live.
Hazy, yellow-orange appearance. Tropical-citrus bouquet, sharp and distinct, as notes of orange rind and pineapple are easily parsed. Follows through on the palate, with a bit more grassy bitterness rounding the flavor profile. Quick, clean finish, as an oily, carbonated complexion ushers away lingering residuals.
I think we have a new style in the works, or at least a new descriptor - West Coast juicy? Dank and juicy? I don't know, but this profile seems to be what top brewers out here are aiming for, and they taste nothing like their East Coast brethren.
