What are terpenes? They are aromatic compounds found in hops and the cousin to the hop, marijuana. This beer is so pungent we just had to give it a heady name. Electric aromas from Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, Centennial and Nelson meet sticky, mouth-coating pine and hop oil flavors enhanced by West Coast clarity and bitterness. It’s what Jerry drinks.

Thanks, Sam.
A clear light orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is bonkers. Definitely sweet notes with orange, melon, papaya, but also a deep, dark dankness, earthy, pungent and toe-curling. Juicy, fruity, mildly sweet. The palate opens dank, earthy, pungent, piney and bitter. There's a moderate sweetness with ripe peach juice, ripe orange, mild grapefruit and more dankness. Mild sweetness that complements the dank earthy notes, with rich, complex, oily terpenes. Bonkers good. Mildly sweet on the finish with rich oily hops. Lovely.

Not sure that I have had an IPA withe the five OG's of hops: Citra, centennial, galaxy, mosaic, and Nelson. Terpene Station was so balanced and easy to drink. Glad I bought a 4 pack!

Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours on the light side of a medium golden amber, with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing; a bit fizzy, but persistent. Aroma of pale malt, citrus, piney and fruit hops, grapefruit, pine, light mixed stone fruit and some dankness. Flavor is pale and biscuit malt, dank, citrus, piney and fruit hops, grapefruit, light stone fruit, a little tropical fruit and solid catty and ganja dankness. Fine forward bitterness that lingers. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This has hop flavors to please everyone; one of the widest spectrum of hop notes I can remember. Usually when you try please everyone, no one is happy, but this time we're in luck. Although dankness dominates, other flavors come and go throughout the taste. The promised Terpene Station and they delivered. I was interested on how they would handle a big IPA after thoroughly enjoying Coffee and Cigarettes and they came through again. Well done.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a faint chill haze and a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Slightly dank grassy herbal notes, spicy resinous pine, citrus, a little tropical and stone fruit plus a hint of melon, a bit of Southern Hem diesel, light floral notes, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Spicy pine, citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and orange, slight dank grassy herbal notes, underlying tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, mango, gooseberry, blueberry, white grape, and melon, a hint of Southern Hem diesel, a bit floral, biscuity slightly bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, a bit oily.
O: Really well done Double Westy. You get plenty of dank resinous herbal goodness balanced by a nice tropical and citrusy fruity side. Not necessarily my favorite profile, but I enjoyed it.

This was the beer that helped me learn what a terpene was. Asked my buddy who had (chose) to stay home, no beer events allowed, only t ball. hahahaha. This was at the Bistro's 17th annual double ipa festival. Here (the ipa festival info sheet) it says the beer was 8.4% and 88 ibu. BA results may vary.
Pours yellow. Slight white 1/3" head. This beer throws down some heavy hitters in the hop aroma realm, I mean this is the murderer's row. And yeah man, it does hella smell like weed, just like any Nelson, Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy hopped beer could, but jeez. Lay it on thick my man. Usual heavy handed descriptors of tropical and citrus fruit alongside the hippie garlic body odor weed.
The taste seems bouyed moreso by the Galaxy and Citra as previously pointed out. Hides alcohol pretty well like many of the Cellarmaker double ipas. Galaxy seems to push the bitterness, fun pine and pineapple push the entire time. I'd pretty much buy any Cellarmaker double ipa, this is no different.

On tap at Cellarmaker. Pours a clear yellow gold with a thin layer of head. Some lacing. The aroma is citrus and dank hops. The taste is lemon peel, weed, orange and some resinous pine. Citrus peel and weed finish with maybe a hint of floral hops. Medium body with a slightly dry mouthfeel. Pretty noticeable alcohol presence.
