This is the next logical step in our continued exploration of South African hop varieties. Experience new variety, XJA/436, interacting with it's two buddies, J-17 (now called African Queen) and Southern Passion to make this a 100% South African hopped IPA. Notes of melon, spice, unripe pineapple, mango and orange.

My first foray into South African hops.
This pours a golden white with some haze and little foam. Light aroma, even as it warms, but bursting with flavor. I get lychee and white grapes, a hint of mamey, and something else familiar yet it escapes me right now. This beer is a burst of flavor and inescapably unique.
