32oz growler, poured into a Cellarmaker imperial pint glass. Enjoyed on 1.17.17, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a hazy and turbid golden color, straw hues with a foamy white head, two fingers high with good retention and lace. The aroma is pleasant, juicy and citrusy hops, lots of grapefruit peel, mango and pineapple with plenty of pale grain, stale bitterness lingers. The flavors are in line with the nose, bright and juicy hops lead the way, floral and tropical while some dank pine and grassy bitterness grows as it warms with lingering stale grain. The mouthfeel is nice, light to medium body, coating with a lively texture, ample carbonation and a dry but easy finish.
Verdict: A nice pale ale from Cellarmaker, very refreshing and easy going. The hops are nice and bright, very flavorful at the front end, but are a bit harsh at the finish.
