It says something about my sky high expectations for anything from Cellarmaker, and also my evolving palate, that I'm not totally blown away by this.
It's an IPA on tap at Toronado in SF.
Throw a dart at the tap list at Toronado and you'll likely hit a 4.5+ IPA.
This isn't the best of the Sonoma Pride offerings there now but it would probably be the best thing on tap at most beer bars outside of the city.
We live in a golden age of beer in the US, and expectations are ridiculous.
Still, it has a nice floral, fruity nose and that classic aromatic after taste.
Plus you're donating to disaster relief in an important California agricultural and cultural area.
Can't go wrong.
