Are you ready for the final frontier? An exploration into the hoppiest of the hoppy. Triple Mt. Nelson pushes you to your limits. This beer will take you on a journey through time, space and flavor. We utilized 2 different lots of Nelson that we personally selected from samples flown to us by Freestyle Farms in New Zealand. We believe this is the consummate Nelson experience with loads of dieselly sauvignon blanc and passion fruit aromas and mouth-coating gooey pine sap flavors.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Quick resinous hit, pine and citrus zest, slightly dank mix of herbal notes and Southern Hem diesel, followed by plenty of the classic fruity Nelson goodness, gooseberry and white grape + tropical and stone fruit, wrapped up with biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Big time mix of exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, gooseberry, apricot, peach, pineapple, guava, white grape, and passion fruit, citrus, pink grapefruit and a hint of tangerine, a bit resinous, a little Southern Hem diesel, subtle slightly dank herbal notes, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Full body, mild to moderate carbonation, soft on the palate with just a hint of alcohol warmth. Quite smooth.
O: Truly taking this series to its highest heights. Really nice Nelson showcase.

Nose is exceptional, guava is at the forefront. Mouthfeel is unique in that I would describe it as a straight arrow, it just takes you to your final spot with no hiccups, cohesive I would say. Taste is pine with grapefruit that is elevated by the mouthfeel.

For Batch 4 canned on 10/18/2021:
Sweet white wine grape, hint of citrus, and hoppy-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical hoppy and grapefruit citrus bitter finish...a nice kick of Nelson dank bitterness starts to come out more on the backend as it warms. This is more Juicy-soft than murky, but it is a great use of the mighty Nelson hop! Really good!
