Clocks in at 9.5 abv. Had on tap at local source.
L: Pours a honey gold in color. Slightly unfiltered appearance but is not hazy. Looks like an unfiltered WCIPA. Little head, supple spotty lacing on glass.
S: Citrus, mild dankness and prominent malt backbone. Piney sap on the nose as well.
T: Great. Tons of lemongrassy hop flavor with crisp citrus finish. Malt sweetness provides a nice foundation that the flavors build upon.
F: Light in body but seemingly heavier in weight. Feel is slick in texture and almost syrupy, which could be due to ABV. Moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Taste, and very easy to drink for 9.5 abv. Drinks fresh and crips, and rather refreshing for a beer of this stature. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!
