Balanced? Check! Soft dryness? Check! Popping aromatics? Check! Fresh local malt? Check! This pale ale checks all our boxes for a hoppy crusher. Strata, Galaxy and Simcoe hops contribute notes of strawberry leaf, kefir lime, and Kiett Mango. Admiral Maltings Pilsner and wheat malt keeps the base flavorful and fluffy. Drinks like an IPA, hits like a pale.

On tap at Monk's Kettle, San Francisco. Surprisingly decent new England pale. The galaxy really pops here -- reminds me a bit of trillium fort point

12 day old can from Lupulo.
The checked boxes are apparently simcoe, strata, & galaxy hops.
L: light yellow, slight haze, amazing fluffy head that stays like a bubble bath.
S: fruity nose. Melons.
T: mango, papaya, honeydew melon, yogurt, grassy/herbal bitterness. Maybe slight dankness.
F: medium-thin. Spritzy.
Overall: very well done pale ale. I don’t know that these 3 hops are the greatest but they do the job. The Pilsner malt makes it go down ez.
