As if brewing beer wasn’t cool enough Cellarmaker and buds Other Half and Monkish were asked to brew a 4-way collaborative beer with & for the amazing crew of HBO’s Silicon Valley. Presenting “Conjoined Triangles of Success,” a hazy Triple IPA brewed in San Francisco, Los Angeles & New York City in celebration of the series finale of Silicon Valley. For those who haven’t seen the show, Conjoined Triangles of Success is a reference to the satirical business ideal of compromise between Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales & Growth. Our version is A DDH Triple IPA brewed with rolled oats to create a viscous body & chewy mouthfeel. Hopped with Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, Galaxy from Australia, Mosaic from Washington State & Idaho 7 hops. Notes of unripe pineapple, peach Haribos, sauvignon blanc grapes & freshly cut pine.

Pours orange yellow. Hazy but not dense. Typical let down from something being advertised as a “hazy”.
I want some thick shit when it comes to this style. I can almost see thru this at points.
Smell is Nelson onion and some tropics. Flavors follow with a more dry and bitter finish. Hides alcohol well for 10!!
Good beer not very good or great.

Sweet, tropical hoppy Nelson hop aromatics on this one! Taste follows with upfront tropical hoppiness and orange/grapefruit citrus bitter bite on the swallow. This has nice depth and decent feel. I guess I was expecting a little more softness with OH and Monkish in this collab...It does hides ABV pretty well, though. Good!
