Two of the hardest hitting hops bring the FIRE in this incredibly fruity IPA. Strata, a limey citrus and tangy weed-like hop teams up perfectly with Galaxy, easily the most vibrant of hops, which seems soaked in pineapple/orange/guava juice. We kept this beer hazy and soft for the most juicy experience we can give you.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces quite nicely.

S: Herbal, spicy pine, a bit grassy and resinous, ripe citrus, strawberry, tropical and stone fruit, a hint of diesel, biscuit malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

T: Spicy resinous pine and slightly dank grassy herbal notes instantly countered with zesty juicy citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, and lemon lime, tropical and stone fruit, mango, peach, apricot, strawberry, passion fruit, and a hint of pineapple, faint diesel, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, somewhat soft on the palate.

O: This is up there with Citra Galaxy for my favorite of the series so far. Great complexity and balance playing these hops off each other. As I've said before, it drinks more like a NEIPA than a Westy, but who cares. Really good stuff.

Draught pour at Final Gravity into nonic pint.

L: Orange yellow murk with limited head with limited retention but left a couple thick ringed lacing.

S: Nose is all tropical fruit notes.

T: Tracks nose but with some added citrus dimension. Finishes with moderate bitterness and hints of astringency, dries the palate.

F: Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation, full and tingly on the tongue and swallow.

O: A solid hybrid hazy, but nothing I'd seek out.

Another Cellarmaker order before they pulled out of shipping to Nevada (or the law changed). Consumed a 4 pack in May/June of this year. I liked the beer. Label design is all universe space stuff, looks cool.

Pours a cloudy/hazy yellow color, 1/3" white head without getting super thick flaked oats/wheat trubby appearance like some beers approaching orange julius levels can do. The aroma is nice and varied, pineapple, strawberry, guava, grapefruit, orange, northern hemisphere like dankness. Strata keeps impressing me.

Taste is well done, ample amounts of hop flavors from the aroma staying strong in the taste. Mouthfeel offers a moderate amount of bitterness that I like, nothing stinging alcohol or bitterness wise. The body doesn't get trubby or watery even if 'hazy'. Ample carbonation despite only 1/3" white head.

I agree with the prior assessment that this beer straddles a fine line and does it well, being neither too juicy/hazy/bitter/boozy.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy goldenstraw with a one finger head; a few shards of lace

Smell: Slightly dank and oniony, with papaya and a hint of pomelo pith

Taste: Papaya and pomelo with some dankness building; modest bitterness, in the middle, with a dry, slightly pithy finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation

Overall: Neither a juice bomb nor overly bitter, this beer treads a fine line and is quite enjoyable

Thanks, fudanchu, for the opportunity
