Dank hops and watermelon – who would have guessed these two amazing items would work so well together? The sweet floral and juicy character of the watermelon softens the heady pine and ganja aspects of Simcoe and Strata hops.

Interesting color - hazy pink guava and pink grapefruit appearance; thick, frothy head, long lasting. Nice tropical and citrus fruit nose; orange and grapefruit. Taste comes across like a watered down fruit slushy - actually very flavorful; very light oat-like presence; esters galore - red berries, grapefruit; assorted tropical fruits; low-key bitterness; mild tartness. Medium-heavy body; a bit coarse and acidic; fruit pith dryness counterpoints the overall juiciness.
This was a mystery beer for NBW BIF #16. I guessed to be some sort of light slushy India pale ale. After seeing the label, I get the watermelon aspect more so. It's a good beer for what it is but not something I'd personally go for.
