Bottle at share. Near black pour, a few beige bubbles. Boozy aroma, roasty malts and chocolate. Roasty , malty taste, sweet, strong, boozy. Very warm finish.

Thanks, Chris.
Black with a thin beige head, this looks great. The nose is excellent with a huge barrel character to go with a really awesome malt profile. Treacle, a little molasses, dark brown sugar, burnt sugar, toffee, along with some chocolate and a touch of coffee. Vanilla and a little dark fruit are also present. On the palate, this really delivers as a black barleywine- burnt sugar and chocolate, but the thing that stands out to me is the rich umami of molasses and treacle, faintly savory but really unique. Boozy, but well balanced too. Impressive.

Sweet milk chocolate, toffee caramel malty, and hint of barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a great and balanced blend of a stout and barleywines! You get the dark chocolate notes from the stout, the caramel malty notes from BWs, and then a bourbon barrel finish from both. Great mouthfeel...this is outstanding!
