New hop varieties are popping up every year and some are better than others. HBC 586 is totally 100% on our radar BIG TIME. It is only a matter of time until this resinous hop gets a name and starts popping up in a lot of beers. For now, we have teamed it up with Mosaic for a new hazy addition to the Mo’ series. These two hops are very compatible making a very dank and aromatic IPA.

16oz can. Stamp on can bottom reads '6939 GIMME SOME MO 10/10/23'.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Two thin fingers of white head, which becomes a partial cap and ring. Leaves behind partial webs of lacing.
Aroma of orange, grapefruit, and vegetal dankness.
Taste is very dank, with semi-sweet fruit flavors of orange, tangerine, and kumquat. Hop vegetal matter. The flavors continue in the same balance in the aftertaste.
Slightly more than medium mouth feel. Buzzy in the mouth. Good carbonation.
Different hop encounter, with limited sweetness and minor bitterness, but still a full flavor profile. Difficult to rate.

HBC 586 is apparently the next big thing in hops. After tasting this beer I can see why it’s getting so much attention. This poured perfectly hazy, with gobs of dank peach puree notes on the nose. Sip followed, with just enough bitterness to remind you it’s an IPA. Fantastic beer.
