Hold on tight because we have put a reckless amount of Sightglass Guatemalan Las Terrazas coffee into this batch of Imperial Coffee And Cigarettes. You are going to be grinding your teeth after experiencing what we believe is the most coffee we have ever added to one beer. That’s right; we are looking at about 8lbs per barrel of rich and hearty, freshly roasted coffee from around the corner on 7th Street. Be ready to not sleep tonight. But who needs sleep when you’re partying for our 9th anniversary???

Can poured into a Bell's Brewery snifter

A: Pours super dark brown with a frothy cocoa brown head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.

S: Opens with a touch of smoke, followed by a wave of roasty goodness, fresh ground coffee, dark and milk chocolate, a bit of earthy char, a hint of vanilla, faint dark fruit, and a little toffee sweetness.

T: Beautifully roasty, dark and milk chocolate actually his first, followed by plenty of fresh ground coffee, earthy with a bit of char and a hint of smoke, a little spice, a hint of vanilla, and some toffee sweetness with just a touch of alcohol coming through as it warms.

M: Full body, somewhat mild carbonation, creamy smooth, rich and decadent.

O: There's just something special about Cellarmaker's coffee beers, especially Coffee & Cigarettes and all the riffs they do on it. Wish I had been lucky enough to track down the original Imperial C&C to have a better reference of how double coffee experience compares, but I guess I'll just have to sit back and enjoy this one for what it is; delicious.

Freshly ground roasty coffee beans, a hint of milk chocolate, and a hint of smokiness/umami nose on this one! Taste follows with a super coffee forward, roasty chocolate, and a well-integrated and light smoky finish. Where's the bigboi ABV?! This is so enjoyable to drink and a nice switch up on the palate. This is great!

2023 version, thanks, Cassidy and Chris!

This is the kind of beer that is so drinkable, so magnificently executed that you can make really poor decisions. Gorgeous, punchy, bright coffee, bitter dark chocolate, grain on a full body. Silky smooth palate. Fabulous.
