Baker's and dark chocolate, a hint of fudge, molasses and dark fruits, and a vanilla-bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a viscous and velvety, chocolate covered dark fruits, and an integrated bourbon boozy finish. This is still drinking really well and has a pillowy-soft aspect to it as it warms. A touch more booziness shows up as it warms as well, but this is well-executed and enjoyable to drink!

On tap at the Oakland location. Pours black as night with almost no head. the nose is vanilla, marshmallow, bourbon, chocolate, and some toffee. The taste is fantastic. Vanilla, sweet toffee, brown sugar, marmalade, a touch smoke. Thick mouthfeel. The barrels do a great job here.

Bottle pour - looks like a big, barrel aged stout with a dark, quickly dissipating head. Nose is a lot of barrel. Flavor is a sweet stout tempered with barrel char notes. This tastes like you'd expect a BBA Dark Lord to taste if you've only had regular Dark Lord.
