Our friends There Does Not Exist from San Luis Obispo share our yearning attraction to pale ales so both breweries quickly came to a consensus that we should brew a brazenly flavorful, aromatic and dank pale. Mashed with plenty of wheat and oats for some playful fluff and fermented with our hazy Chico strain so that the Uber-saturated hopping with Mosaic, Simcoe, Nelson and New Zealand Cascade slathers up the old hop hole unobstructed by annoying yeast esters. We kept it plenty hazy, brewed it Slo and now it’s time to Glo.

Just let your Soul Glo, oh wait sorry. Great movie though. Anyhoo, let's run this second review ever here

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow color into a 1918 Marquette jersey pint glass. Just a hair over 1" of white head. They describe it as hazy, but doesn't quite get there, cloudy is my designation. The aroma pops so nice, I'm really digging these New Zealand Cascades, they pair well with the Nelson dankness and the Mosaic gives some friendlier fruity minded smells of berries to go along with all that dank outdoor weed and garlic/onion/white grape musk smells of Nelson.

Taste is a banger simply put. Its not just rind and pine with these Cascades. Light stone fruit, pink grapefruit flesh, guava, it hits differently, but still provides the right Goldilocks amount of bitterness (Simcoe shoutout here), something the elite level hazies can do. Nice light fluffy body supportive of a gripload of proprietary hops. This is a winner.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of nice lacing.

S: Lively mix of bright citrus and exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, countered with resinous pine and grassy notes, built on biscuity malt and just a little caramel sweetness.

T: Zesty citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a hint of tangerine, resinous pine, some underlying exotic tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, blueberry, gooseberry, passion fruit, apricot, peach, white grape, and faint hints of red berries, a bit grassy, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, slightly prickly moderate carbonation, crisp, yet soft on the palate.

O: Super refreshing hazy pale ale. I feel like the Mosaic and NZ Cascade take the lead, with the Nelson adding some nice depth, but never fully taking over (in a good way). I hope they bring this one back during summer. It's brightening up a rainy winter day now, but I'm sure it would hit even better on a hot summer day.
