We applied our expressive yeast blend to our tried and true “Turok: Mosaic Hunter“ recipe. Hopped with 2 different lots of incredible, specially selected Mosaic hops this beer is truly dynamic and shows off one of our favorite varieties. This batch is Double Dry Hopped for even more potent notes of stone fruit, melon, and resin with an incredibly pungent aroma and mouth-coating hoppy texture.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Bright zesty citrus, ripe tropical and stone fruit plus blueberry and melon, a little resinous pine, floral notes, a bit grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Opens with a solid hit of floral notes immediately followed by bright juicy citrus, tangerine, pink grapefruit, lemon, and lime, big tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, guava, pineapple, peach, apricot, blueberry, and melon, a little resinous pine, slightly grassy, hints of bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, just a touch of hop burn as it warms (not unpleasant).
O: I wish I had gotten to try this one when it was fresher to see how it stacks up to the original at full strength. At this stage it's pretty similar, but more floral and fruity, and without the dank herbal undertones. I'm always amazed at how well Cellarmaker can get so much out of a single hop.

At the SF Beer Week 2024 blind hazy tasting event at the Richmond Republic this beer was our #2 choice out of the 16 beers competing. Made with three differently sourced Mosaic batches, it's dank, resinous with hints of melon and stone fruit.
