Alright first review out of the ol' bArF Summer '24 album. Looks like we had this one tailgating the river. Golden yellow pour into that 1900 art pint glass. Full 1"+ on the head, its spilling over the top of the pint glass. Looks good. Decent clarity. Aroma of grain and just a kiss of hop, presume Saaz, doesn't seem to deviate from that. Also, this is an Urban Roots collab, I think I've had their label version as well. Just slightly less clarity here.
The taste is a true to form german pilsner. Light, traditional Euro hopping, pilsner malt, lager yeast, its all there. I've said it before, but this is one of those beers that can satisfy the skinny fat beer nerd who decries things as "problematic" but also a normal person who likes to have fun and drink "normal" beer. Packs a sizeable amount of pilsner flavor into a light pilsner body while still having an almost helles like breadiness that still has the deft and nimble pilsner back end dry crispness.

Very pleasant cereal tasting light brew. There's the faintest kiss of hops, so it's almost a Blonde Ale flavor, even with that touch of malty sweetness. Clear golden amber brew with long-lasting foam in the Duvel nonic. Faint aroma of flowers and grain. Not even a hint of bitterness, which is a nice change from a few over-hopped Pilsners I've had lately. Perfectly quaffable but not very interesting. Have to give it credit, though, for being as tasty as it is even with the Utah supermarket beer alcohol content. From the 16 oz can purchased at San Diego Wine & Beer. Not dated.

I took German in the 7th grade and frau Brown was our teacher (I assume she married an American dude with the basic last name and all). Anyway, we had to write a paper on what learning german meant to us. And for some reason my mom wrote mine. Well, Frau Brown liked it so much that she read it to the entire class. Oh, bad Raul! Moving along… This beer is ok.
