We employed the North Park treatment of infusing Citra Incognito in the fermenter of X-Raying Nugs and then further hopped the bejesus out of it with Nelson, Nelson Cryo and Citra. Then on top of that we added Rakau SubZero Hop Kief, a hop extract from Freestyle Hops in New Zealand, for an extra terp and berry slap of aroma.

DDH hazy DIPA
Collab with north park
Enjoyed on 4/20
Drank at the source. Pours a solid straw-yellow, with zero opacity. Sweet papaya and pineapple run across the olfactory senses and lay waste to the palate. Thick, with a touch of hop burn. Delicious.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Bright, zesty, citrus, tropical and exotic fruit, a little pine, a bit grassy, stone fruit, a touch of Southern Hem diesel, faint slightly dank herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Lively mix of citrus, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, pineapple, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, passion fruit, gooseberry, mango, lychee, white grape, and a hint of guava, a little resinous pine, a touch of Southern Hem diesel, subtle slightly dank herbal notes, grassy, faintly earthy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate but a touch of hop burn can come out as it warms.
O: I tend to steer away from beers that feature Rakau because I'm not the biggest fan of some of the orchard fruit notes that it throws. Was talking with the manager at a local bottle shop who recommended this one. Glad I took his advice. Here the Hop Kief version of Rakau cleans that up and plays together very nicely with the Citra and Nelson. Felt like the depth of flavors wasn't gonna end; something new kept emerging with practically every sip. Surprise beer of the year for me so far.

Sweet tropical hoppy, white wine grape, and a zesty, orange-tangerine citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical-fruity hoppy and an orange-grapefruit, citrus-dank bitter finish...a nice hoppy-dank bitter bite on the backend. This is more medium-bodied in the mouthfeel dept. and leans Cellarmaker IMO. Good stuff!
