Krush is a relatively new hop variety known for having flavors of mango, blueberry fruit leather and guava. We have primarily seen breweries use it in WCIPA (us included) but did a Hazy Pale Ale last year using it alongside Citra and it was an immediate staff favorite. Both tropical hops play off each other incredibly well. We’re using a really incredible lot of Krush that’s a blend from some of the best hop farmers in the game Perrault Farms, Carpenter Hops, Loftus Ranches, and Jackson Hop Farms alongside our brand new 2024 lot of Oregon grown Citra that’s kicking off huge notes of pineapple, satsuma orange and lime. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we enjoyed creating it! Grab a pint. Or grab a pitcher?!

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Tropical and stone fruit, melon, citrus, a touch grassy, some herbal earthy woodsy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Ripe citrus, orange/tangerine leads the way, followed by lemon lime, and faint pink grapefruit, plenty of tropical and stone fruit, guava, apricot, peach, lychee, strawberry, melon, and mango, underlying earthy herbal woodsy notes, a touch grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: I'm normally not crazy about Krush hops, but Cellarmaker worked their magic here. The fruity side really pops and plays off the Citra, and while the herbal woodsy side is still there, it's held in check. Definitely smooth and krushable.
