Nectaron Overdrive was brewed with one thing in mind… bringing on the tropical fruit! Nectaron has quickly become one of our favorite new hop varieties, boasting intense pineapple, nectarine and melon characteristics. While Nectaron is the star of the show, we layered in smaller amounts of Simcoe and NZ Cascade to bring on some nice grapefruit, spice, lime and overall depth of flavor.

This is one of my tippy top fave Cellarmaker hazy IPAs. Really potent distinctive yet easy drinking stuff! Wish it was available more often.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Quick hit of slightly dank herbal notes, followed by a mix of ripe citrus, tropical and stone fruit, resinous pine, a touch of spice, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy tropical and stone fruit, overripe mango, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, and red currant, citrus, lemon lime and grapefruit, resinous pine, slightly dank herbal notes, a subtle touch of almost ginger like spice, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Going off the name I was expecting a Nectaron showcase. Instead the addition of Simcoe and especially NZ Cascade adds some nice depth and brings some really cool unique notes to the party. This one definitely stands out.
